Hello Readers, at first I wish all of you a very happy and prosperous Durga Puja.On this eve of Durga puja I am going to share with you the Assamese version of famous novel The Toilers of The Sea by well known French writer Victor Hugo.it was first published in the year 1866 with the title Travailleurs de la Mer.It is translated into Assamese as নীল সাগৰৰ সাধু by eminent Assamese writer Mahendra Bora who has translated many classics of Western literature like Gulliver's Travels, Pinocchio, Oliver Twist etc into Assamese.I have digitized this book with the help of my friend Nabajyoti Das from Cotton College.It is a very old book so quality of scanning is little bit low still I hope you will enjoy it.And one more thing this book may be copyright protected,if you hold the copyright of this book and want me to remove it then please drop me a mail,I will immediately remove it.If you have any suggestion to the blog,don't forget to do comment........
