The book Patachara is based on 'Therigatha'(Songs of Buddhist Nuns) and it describes the story of a lady 'Sona' who later turned to 'Patachara' under some tragic circumstances. The book was first published in the year 1990 and was adapted from the story 'এহি ভিক্‌খুণী' by the author, published in the year 1987.
